The Flavor Wizard is the beginning—not the end

A Better Flavor Is Only the First Step.

RxFlavor is the Medication Success Platform for compounding pharmacies. It helps patients successfully start and continue compounded medications through personalized flavor guidance, administration education, proactive follow-up, and dedicated medication support—while reducing routine work for pharmacy staff.

  1. Patient Enters

The patient scans the pharmacy’s QR code, opens a secure link, or calls the Medication Support Line when help is needed.

  2. Flavor Wizard

When flavor selection is needed, the patient answers a short questionnaire and receives relevant flavor guidance and Administration Guides.

  3. Medication Success Journey

RxFlavor continues with education, first-dose check-ins, progress questions, the Medication Support Line, and an easy way to request pharmacy help.

Low-friction entry

Built to Work Without Slowing Down the Pharmacy.

Pharmacy teams should not have to leave their primary system, recreate patient records, or manually launch every questionnaire. RxFlavor can begin with a QR code placed on the counter, a printed card, a bag insert, or a secure link sent by text or email.

  • No duplicate patient entry required
  • No complicated staff workflow
  • Patients complete the experience on their own device
  • SMS and email invitations remain available when needed
  • Staff step in only when a patient reports a meaningful problem

The pharmacy QR code is the primary low-friction entry point. Flavor Wizard starts the journey when flavor selection is needed; education, follow-up, and the Medication Support Line keep patients supported afterward.

Medication Success Journey

Support From the First Scan to the Last Dose.

RxFlavor stays with the patient after flavor selection—through education, check-ins, and a dedicated Medication Support Line when help is needed between scheduled messages. Timing is configurable for your pharmacy—stages below use approximate days, not rigid clinical schedules.

  1. Day 0

    Flavor and Preparation

Patient completes the Flavor Wizard and receives relevant guidance, administration tips, and Administration Guide videos.

  2. Around Day 2

    First-Dose Check-In

RxFlavor asks how the first dose went and identifies difficulty, refusal, or questions early.

  3. Around Day 7

    Medication Education

The patient receives contextual guidance based on patient type, medication form, age, species, and reported challenges.

  4. Around Day 14

    Progress Check

RxFlavor asks whether administration is becoming easier and offers additional support when needed.

  5. Anytime

    Medication Support Line

Patients can call the pharmacy’s dedicated support number to report taste or administration concerns, continue a check-in, or request pharmacy help—without waiting for the next scheduled message.

  6. Later in Treatment

    Staying on Track

The patient can report that they are continuing, running low, stopped treatment, or need help. RxFlavor does not know refill dates—it asks whether the patient is still taking the medication or running low.

Support when patients need it

Every Pharmacy Gets a Dedicated Medication Support Line.

Patients do not always wait for the next scheduled check-in when a medication is difficult to take. Every RxFlavor pharmacy receives a dedicated Medication Support Line connected to its RxFlavor account. Patients can report taste concerns, administration difficulty, missed-dose concerns, or request pharmacy help. RxFlavor handles routine support within defined boundaries and surfaces the cases where pharmacy intervention is needed.

Available when questions arise

Patients have another way to reach the Medication Success experience without waiting for the next scheduled message.

Connected to the patient journey

Relevant call outcomes can update the same Medication Success Journey used by the Flavor Wizard and follow-ups.

Designed around exceptions

Routine successful interactions do not flood the pharmacy inbox. Meaningful problems and requests for help are surfaced.

No additional setup workflow

The support line is provisioned and associated with the pharmacy’s RxFlavor account. It is not a separate receptionist system the pharmacy must configure.

RxFlavor provides medication-administration support and collects patient-reported concerns. It does not diagnose, prescribe, change doses, recommend stopping treatment, screen interactions, or replace pharmacist judgment.

The real cost

The Real Cost Is Not a Bad Flavor. It Is a Failed Medication Experience.

When a patient or pet rejects a compounded medication—or struggles to take it—the pharmacy absorbs more than a remake. Missed doses, repeat calls, and lost confidence add up quickly.

Missed doses or stopped treatment

The patient may miss doses or stop taking the medication altogether.

Repeat troubleshooting calls

Staff spend time resolving administration problems after the prescription has left.

Preventable administration problems

Time goes to problems that education and early check-ins might have surfaced sooner.

Compound adjustments or remakes

The formulation may need to be adjusted or remade after a failed first experience.

Lost patient confidence

A difficult experience can erode trust in the pharmacy’s compounded medications.

Lost future opportunities

Future business and refill opportunities may be lost when patients quietly give up.

RxFlavor helps patients successfully take compounded medications—from flavor selection through first-dose support, ongoing check-ins, and the Medication Support Line—not just at the moment of compounding.

How it works

From First Scan or Call to Ongoing Medication Success.

QR, email, SMS, and the Medication Support Line all feed the same Medication Success Journey and the same pharmacy dashboard. Flavor Wizard begins the personalized path when flavor selection is needed—not every caller must complete it.

  1. Patient scans, opens a link, or calls

Place your pharmacy QR code at the counter or on a bag insert, send a secure link by SMS or email, or share your dedicated Medication Support Line for between-check-in help.

  2. Flavor Wizard when flavor selection is needed

The patient answers a short questionnaire. Your team receives flavor guidance, preferences, and administration context.

  3. Administration Guides prepare the patient

Contextual videos and practical tips—matched to patient type, form, and age—help the first doses go more smoothly.

  4. First-dose and progress check-ins

Simple follow-up questions identify refusal or difficulty early, when your pharmacy can still help.

  5. Medication Support Line between check-ins

Patients can call when support is needed—taste concerns, administration difficulty, approved education questions, check-ins, or a request for pharmacy help.

  6. Pharmacy alerts when intervention is needed

Staff receive meaningful notifications when a patient reports a problem, stops treatment, or requests pharmacist assistance.

Pharmacy value

A Better Patient Experience Without More Work for Your Team.

RxFlavor helps pharmacists spend more time being pharmacists by handling routine support and surfacing the moments where their expertise matters.

Identify problems before patients give up

Surface medication acceptance and administration problems through check-ins and the Medication Support Line—before patients quietly stop.

Reduce repetitive support reaching staff

Give patients a consistent support path for routine taste and administration questions so fewer calls land on the primary pharmacy line.

Consistent support after dispensing

Every patient gets the same thoughtful path from flavor guidance through education, check-ins, and the Medication Support Line.

Surface only who needs intervention

Alerts highlight patients who report meaningful problems or request pharmacist help—not every routine interaction.

Differentiate with ongoing medication support

Stand out with compounding-specific Medication Success support—not just another flavor list or generic phone assistant.

Pharmacist judgment stays in control.

RxFlavor supports flavor selection, patient education, and medication-administration support. It does not calculate doses, prescribe treatment, screen interactions, or replace the pharmacist’s professional judgment.

Built for trust

Transparent Flavor Guidance Your Pharmacist Can Evaluate.

The Flavor Wizard is the approachable front door. Every recommendation is ranked from patient responses, pharmacy context, available flavors, known restrictions, and accumulated outcome evidence—never a black box.

  • Every ranking shows the inputs that produced it.
  • Confidence is reported alongside the sample size behind it.
  • When evidence is thin, RxFlavor says so instead of inventing certainty.
  • The pharmacist can override any recommendation and record why.

FAQ

Questions Pharmacies Ask First.

Do we need to integrate with our pharmacy software?

No. RxFlavor is a standalone web app that runs alongside your pharmacy management system—no PMS integration is required. Your existing software remains the system of record. Patients typically enter through your pharmacy QR code or a secure link; staff review Flavor Requests and alerts when intervention is needed.

Is RxFlavor an EMR or a patient record system?

No. RxFlavor is not an EMR and is not designed to hold a patient chart. It supports the Medication Success Journey: flavor preferences, administration education, check-ins, and optional internal references so your team can find prior history. Security, access, and any BAA requirements are covered during onboarding.

Does RxFlavor calculate doses or screen interactions?

No. RxFlavor does not calculate doses, prescribe treatment, screen interactions, or make clinical recommendations. It helps patients successfully take compounded medications through flavor guidance, education, and follow-up. The pharmacist retains final judgment on every selection.

Does AI make the final flavor decision?

No. RxFlavor is designed as pharmacist-controlled decision support. The initial recommendation uses structured patient preferences, pharmacy context, restrictions, and transparent ranking logic. As outcome data grows, AI may assist with pattern detection and ranking improvements, but the pharmacist remains responsible for the final selection.

How do you explain why a flavor was recommended?

Every recommendation is shown with the inputs behind it: what the patient selected, what they reported avoiding, what the pharmacy has available, and how much comparable outcome data exists. When evidence is limited, RxFlavor says so rather than presenting a confident-looking number it cannot support.

When does follow-up happen, and is it required?

Follow-up is optional and consent-based. It only happens if the patient or caregiver agrees at the end of the Flavor Wizard. Check-ins are sent on a configurable schedule—often around a few days after the first dose and again later in treatment—asking about administration difficulty, not whether the medication clinically worked. RxFlavor does not know refill dates.

What happens during the 14-day free trial?

You get full access to your plan for 14 days. Enter your payment information today — you won't be charged until your trial ends, and you can cancel anytime before then. There are no setup fees and no long-term contract.

What if the patient doesn’t have a smartphone?

Use the QR code at the counter on a pharmacy device, or walk through the Flavor Wizard with the caregiver directly. Delivery is flexible—SMS, email, or in-person QR.

We already offer custom flavors. Why add this?

More choices are not the same as the right choice—and flavor is only the first step. RxFlavor helps you select a flavor based on what the patient reported, then supports them through Administration Guides, check-ins, and the Medication Support Line so administration problems surface early instead of after the patient quietly gives up.

What is the Medication Support Line?

Every participating pharmacy receives a dedicated number for compounded-medication support connected to its RxFlavor account. Patients can use it to report flavor or taste problems, administration difficulty, continue Medication Success check-ins, ask questions that can be answered with approved RxFlavor education, or request pharmacy assistance. It is not a general pharmacy receptionist.

Is the Medication Support Line a replacement for our pharmacy phone system?

No. It is a narrow medication-support channel for the Medication Success Journey—not a replacement for your pharmacy’s primary phone line, and not for prescription status, insurance, store hours, refill processing, or general receptionist duties.

What questions can the Medication Support Line handle?

Flavor and taste concerns, difficulty administering the medication, approved medication-administration education, Medication Success check-ins, and requests for pharmacy follow-up. It does not diagnose, prescribe, change doses, recommend stopping treatment, screen interactions, or make clinical decisions.

What happens when a patient needs the pharmacist?

RxFlavor collects relevant context and creates an alert or support item for the pharmacy. It does not attempt to make decisions that require pharmacist judgment.

Does the pharmacy have to configure the Medication Support Line?

No extensive setup is required. RxFlavor provisions the pharmacy-specific number and uses shared platform guardrails. Pharmacy-specific customization is minimal and optional—it is not a separate receptionist system you must build and maintain.

Does the Medication Support Line provide medical advice?

No. It does not diagnose, prescribe, change doses, recommend stopping treatment, calculate doses, or screen interactions. It provides medication-administration support and collects patient-reported concerns for your pharmacy.

Do you offer pricing for multiple locations?

Yes. Multi-Location plans include volume pricing and a dedicated success contact. Contact sales for a custom quote.
